ART SUPPLY BASICS Workshop Series for Adults

Session 1: Black and White Drawing Materials

Including graphite, charcoal, Conte crayon, pen and ink.

Join Catherine for a series of three workshops highlighting the properties and possibilities of a variety of drawing and painting materials. Each session will focus on a different medium. Through demonstrations and hands-on practice, we will discover what each material does best, the variety of types and best brands available, and how its qualities affect the way it performs. Participants will develop a practical understanding of how art materials work, how different products compare, and how to make informed decisions when purchasing supplies.

Students may sign up for one, two or all three workshops. 

All levels of experience are welcome.

Tuition is $95 per session, featuring 3 hours of guided instruction. All art materials are provided for classroom use. Light refreshments will be served.
