I invite you to visit my studio and experience the many facets of my creativity, which so far include stained glass, expressive paintings, optical illusion coloring books and t-shirts. Having a studio which overlooks the inspiring Acushnet River at the Hatch Street Studios opened many doors for my creative expression.

Working with the rigidity and precision of stained glass for over 20 years I wanted to try a medium that was more fluid and carefree. So, with the gentle nudging (yah right! JUST PAINT ALREADY) from another Hatch Street artist and friend I started painting.

Wow! I never realized how my life would change by experimenting with a different medium. I experienced an awakening that helped release me from my old way of life. The more I painted, the more I wanted to paint. I could not get the creative expression out of me fast enough. When I ran out of canvas, I painted on my rug.

I allowed the creative energy to flow through me. I never knew what was going to be created. I used each painting as a meditation and with each painting came a transformation in my life. The alchemy of art. I realize that art and creative expression should be a major role in everyone’s life. Art has the power to Awaken, Release and Transform. A.R.T.

It is more than just a tangible object. It is about what happens to us when we create. We have an unlimited supply of creative energy and imagination. Tap into it! As a result, my purpose in life is to help others become inspired, create and transform.
